The night starts with growth. From 8 PM to 9 PM, we offer free Bachata and Salsa classes. Whether you are a seasoned pro or have two left feet, our instructors bring the community together. It is about the shared experience. Learn the steps, then stay for the social.

- The Main Room: Experience the "Tropical" vibe. We rotate through the best Reggaeton, Dancehall, Afrobeats, and Soca. It is high energy. It is global. It is the sound of the Caribbean and Africa meeting on the dance floor.
- The Lounge Room: A dedicated space for the classics. Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, and Top 40 hits. It’s the perfect balance for those who want to keep the Latin energy high.
A Mission Rooted in Heritage
The Caribe is more than a venue. We are a veteran-owned and black-owned business with over 25 years of community tradition. Our owner, Ikechukwu Ume, envisioned a space where food and music act as a bridge.
We are proud to be one of the few black-owned restaurants in san diego that serves as a true cultural hub. Our mission is to unite. We bring together the flavors of Nigeria, the rhythms of Jamaica, and the soul of Puerto Rico under one roof in South Bay San Diego.
